ON BECOMING MORE HUMAN

This abstract painting is inspired by my meditations on the subject of community and its impact on the individual. However, as I mentioned in my last post (Contemplating The Nature of Revelation), I have no desire to step up on a soapbox and preach my ideas to those who might engage with my work. I want the viewer to be free to have their own experience with the piece. I prefer a conversation, a community hermeneutic if you will, rather than a singular perspective. So, in that spirit, what does it say to you?
